BIBIMPAP - 1 SERVING
INGREDIENTS
1 carrot cut into thin strips
2 Mushrooms - optional
2-3 cloves of garlic
Meat- beef strips or chicken - optional
Handful of Beansprouts
Handful of Spinach
1 Spring onion
Pea shoots
1 Egg
2 tbsp Gochujang
Soya sauce
Sesame oil
Sesame seeds
honey
Rice
METHOD
1) Spinach = cook for 2-3 minutes with oil and a pinch of sea salt, 2 teaspoons of soya sauce and 1 teaspoon of sesame oil and a teaspoon of sesame seeds and half a clove of garlic.
2) Carrot – 4 minutes with 1 teaspoon of soya sauce until soft with a crunch
3) Beansprouts cook for 4 minutes with with a teaspoon of soya sauce
4) Mushroom- fry with oil and salt
5) For the meat you can use whatever you like and just stir fry it in a pan with half a clove of garlic, 1 teaspoon of honey and a tablespoon of soya sauce
6) Cook rice and put in the middle of your bowl or at the base of your bowl
7) Place all your side dishes around the rice or on top of the rice- and add meat if you are using it
8) Fry one egg with one teaspoon of sesame oil until the whites are cooked but the yolk is still raw and runny = place this on top of your dish
9) Bibimbap sauce = 2 tablespoons of gochujang, 1 tablespoon of hot water, a clove of garlic diced finely or minced, 2 tablespoons of soya sauce, 1 tablespoon of honey, and 1 tablespoon of sesame oil. = drizzle the sauce on top of your dish and top with sesame seeds and pea shoots
